Honoring Students who promote Lake Tahoe’s Culture of Kindness.

This scholarship honors two STHS alumni, Kevin Sullivan and Todd Fields. Both were ’84 classmates who were strong student athletes, strong in school spirit, and who bravely fought ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). The intention of the scholarship is to return the kindness and support that the South Lake Tahoe community showed Kevin and Todd during their journeys with ALS. Each year, two graduates will receive a one-time award of $500.00 at a minimum.

Scholarship applicants should demonstrate a record of engaging in community service and acts of kindness through active participation in volunteer work organizations, activities that encourage Lake Tahoe’s helpful culture, and assistance to residents in the region.
